Description
Provides shared language activities to address several major and/or state-driven preschool and kindergarten standards including: understand and use question words; use the most frequently occuring prepositions (i.e. in, out, on, off, by); produce and expand complete sentences; identify common objects and animals; describe relative positions of objects (i.e. above, below, beside, next to, in front of, behind); combine simple shapes to form larger shapes; use concrete objects, pictures, and conversation to determine meaning of unfamiliar words/concepts; focus on an activity with deliberate concentration and follow multiple steps. Children explore ten different animals and three examples each of fourteen different location words/phrases. Word cards for the animals and locations are also included.
