Oral Language provides an effective way for students to work in small groups to improve listening and communication skills. Three kinds of activities are included: students giving oral instruction to each other, descriptions and drawing from memory and finding missing items in a picture through questioning. The combination of strong activities and student interaction makes these activities powerful additions to any language arts program. Activities increase in level of difficulty and may be used independently or in a sequential program to build skills. 32 pages.
