Lesson plans include clear learning objectives, vocabulary, literature references and standards alignments (NGSS, ECERS-R). Each lesson has easy set-up instructions including whole class and group activities, challenges, discussion topics and ideas for differentiating instruction.
• Once they have created their simple moving machines, students can explore STEM and STEAM concepts as they measure distance and speed or experiment with the impact of variable incline. It is a hands-on way to integrate the skills and concepts of math, science, engineering and design thinking.
